The digitization evident in society does not bypass the organ world, particularly in the documentation of organs and everything related to these instruments. Digitization offers unprecedented opportunities to provide both professionals and amateurs with information. Musicologist Hans Steketee, as the director of the National Institute for the Art of Organ, is deeply engaged in this field. In the following article, he outlines the pros and cons of information transfer on paper and provides an overview of the current state of organ documentation digitization. The article also features contributions from Marten Steketee and Peter van Kranenburg.
