A conversation with organ builder Wim Janssen

Wim Janssen, now 80, worked for Verschueren Orgelbouw from 1962 until 2006. From 1995 onwards, alongside his work as a voicer, he also served as managing director. He mastered every aspect of the craft. In conversation with him, we look back on developments in organ building in the southern Netherlands since the 1960s. We also consider the present day, since Janssen remains involved in “the firm”.
