Though organ builder Antonius Kuerten of Huissen left behind little more than half an organ case, a wind chest, and some pipe work, his legacy in the Betuwe region was significant. Between 1830 and 1850, he constructed a dozen organs throughout the area and performed extensive maintenance work. After this productive period, he faded into obscurity until his tragic death.
